VAT Refund Conditions
Every Non-EU citizen who purchased goods for amount over 300 BGN VAT incl., from our shops is able to claim and refund the VAT amount within 3 (three) months of the invoice date.
The purchased goods must be exported from the EU (the country) within 3 (three) months of the invoice date.
The foreign citizen must present the original documents to the Agent within 6 (six) months of the invoice date.
To take advantage of Tax Free Shopping, tourist with dual citizenship had to enter the country (accordingly EU) with their foreign passport.
Our shop will suplly you with invoice and refund cheque for purchased goods.
The exact amount that will be refunded to you is indicated on the bottom of the back page of the refund cheque, the information is filled in by the shop sttaff.
VAT Refund Points
Foreign Citizens may cash out their VAT refund at the our Agent’s Refund points at the following addresses:
- Refund office of E&S Tax Services at Sofia Airport, Terminal 2 before passport control - Monday to Sunday from 8:00 to 16:00
- Exchange bureau „4Х” at Varna Airport
- Exchange bureau „4Х” at Burgas Airport
- Refund office, Kyustendil, 77 Tsar Osvoboditel blvd. - Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 and Saturday 9:00 to 14:00
- Refund office, Kapitan Andreevo Border point – Shipka Sped company - Working 24/7
- Office of E&S Tax Services, Sofia, 11A Slavyanska str. Mon - Fri 10:00 до 17:30
During the active winter season (20th of December – 31th of March) in Bansko:
- Exchange bureau “OFFICE CHANGE” 77 Pirin str. Near KAP HOUSE hotel
- Exchange bureau „4Х” Naiden Gerov str., near ” Veseloto selo” restaurant
